This delicate, perfectly shaped teardrop of rare red sea glass likely originates from historic signal lantern glass. The piece measures about 1/2" long and is bezel set all around in fine silver. It is soldered to a 7/8" wide hand hammered, sterling silver cylindrical bowl. The 1/4" deep bowl is soldered to a size 6.25 split band ring shank.
