This genuine sea glass piece shows multiple blue colors, with a distinct, darker blue line through the center, as well as a dark blue "stripe" on one edge. The piece is equally beautiful on both sides and can be worn with either side facing front. It was found on a pebbly North Sea shoreline in England.

The smooth, teardrop shaped beach gem measures 5/8-inch long and 3/8-inch wide. The swirled look originates from multiple colors of glass that were mixed together when in the molten stage. Whether the original glass was created as an artistic piece or was from an industrial bottle-works site, it has resulted in a multi-hued chunk that was discarded into the sea. The piece spent many decades thereafter in the surf being shaped and conditioned.

It is finely drilled from side to side and securely held with a handsome, sterling silver pinch bail that fits through the drilled channel. The bail allows the sea glass to playfully swing slightly forward and back. The total pendant length is 1- inch tall. It hangs on a sterling silver chain in the length of your choice.
