This unique, multicolored sea glass gem features layers of blues, reminiscent of the depths of the sea. The base of this piece is white with cornflower stripes through the center and the darker, cobalt blues layer over the top. It was found on a rocky North Sea shoreline in England after tumbling for decades into the pristinely smooth piece seen here.

The swirled look originates from multiple colors of glass that were mixed together when in the molten stage. Whether the original glass was created as an artistic piece or was from an industrial bottle-works site, it has resulted in a multi-hued chunk that was discarded into the sea. The piece spent many decades thereafter in the surf being shaped and conditioned.

We have carefully drilled the 1/2" piece horizontally and fit a sterling silver pinch bail through the hole. The bail allows the sea glass to playfully swing slightly in the setting. The full length of the pendant is 7/8" long. It hangs on a sterling silver chain in the length of your choice.
