This is a gorgeous bauble of sea glass that is smooth and rounded. It is a dark red, making it rare, and was backlit to show off its color. This unwanted chunk was then discarded into the sea. The piece has spent many decades in the surf being shaped and conditioned naturally.

This sea glass gem measures 2cm tall x 1.5 cm wide. It was found on a rocky beach along the Pacific Ocean. The photo with a U.S. dime also shows the backside of the gem.
