Blue Stripes Multicolor
The stark contrast of this sea glass piece shows stripes of blues against the otherwise frosty white nugget. We have backlit this beauty as the blues are very dark. In natural light it is difficult to see the stripes. This pattern originates from molten glass that was mixed together with other colors. This resulted in a multi-hued chunk that was then discarded into the sea. The piece has spent many decades in the surf being shaped and conditioned. This piece was found along a North Sea shoreline in England.
It has a nice oval shape and measures 2 cm long and would be pretty in fine jewelry, or a complementary addition to your sea glass collection. Dime in photo for size reference.
Your gem will arrive on a card which tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean from which it was beachcombed.
