As a Pacific Northwest native, I grew up escaping to the Oregon coast often with my family. The Pacific's beaches are vast and wide with miles of beachcombing possibilities. I would arrive back at the cabin pockets filled with sea shells, sea glass & more.
I grew up in a home adorned with antique glassware. My mother, a professional antique dealer & president of the Oregon Antique Dealer’s Assoc. specialized, of all things, in glassware. My unexpected intrigue of vintage sea glass origin started when I was young.
As an adult, my 20 year career as a professional youth program director took me outdoors and on the water; kayaking, water skiing, white water rafting, organizing camps & beach cleanups etc.
