Rare Lavender on Mermaid Tail

This rich, 7/8" long, smooth lavender gem likely originates from decades old bottle glass discarded into the rugged ocean surf. It's been tumbling naturally along a remote Pacific shore. We've beach comed it ourselves, finely drilled it, then set it with a "Mermaids Tail" pin bail that secures right through the hole. On 18" sterling silver chan.
