Why are Marbles Special? |
To find an intact, sea glass marble is highly rare. Pacific Ocean marbles have usually been tumbling for decades at sea. Why? In the early 1900's marbles were often used for ship ballast. Happening upon a smooth, well frosted marble is considered a once in a lifetime occurance to many collectors.
